This was confirmed by Mayor Guillermo Montenegro. Likewise, Container Terminal 2 indicated that the cargo movement was almost 25 thousand tons.

They assure that more than 430 containers were exported to Brazil through the new maritime route, since it was created a little more than two months ago, and the cargo movement was almost 25 thousand tons.

The confirmation was made by the mayor Guillermo Montenegro this Tuesday through the social network X, where he assured: “From the first day we proposed to accompany Mar del Plata SMEs so that they can grow, generate quality employment in the region and take their products to the world”.

“We did it with the training to export through the airport and we will continue giving tools to make it easier for those who bet on Mar del Plata,” he added.

According to him, this number of containers transports much of what is produced in the region directly to the international market. “I have no doubt that this is the way forward: to accompany those who undertake so that the local economy continues to grow”, he stressed.
